Bald mountain or rapidan isnt too far from there. Does bald mountain have any large camping areas? The biggest thing at rapidan may have room for 3 trucks. Some good camping at Crabtree meadows too.

 

There isn't many things that an ass beating would fix. No, itwouldnt fix the victims truck. But that amount of recklessness deserves an ass beating. I would bet money that he'd never do it again.

 

I am definitely down go out there and find some more roads. There were a few logger/fire roads i came,across one had workers on it so i figured best to just turn around.

The real problem here is clearly that the guy in the F150 was in 'stealth" mode, as evidenced by the trailer.

I’m not sure on bald mtn i have only been once in snow and didn’t get to finish it. @JWROSE4 might know? I would love to go back though and explore more. Crab tree would be cool too though I’m up for anything really if we get a decent group.

 

My son worked a wreck where a pick up with tools in the bed drifted off the highway into the guardrail. A shovel came through the rear window, sliced along the side of teh drivers cheek before continuing on through the front windshield. 6" left and it would have deapitated him. The generator or pressure washer, something big and heavy I forget what exactly, punched through the bed and cab and embedded itself in the dash on the passenger side. Luckily there was no passenger.

 

There is a few spots where you can fit multiple trucks. Theres a couple on top and a few about half way to third up.

 

Got an email this morning from Sunpath letting me know my skydiving rig was ready and they were shipping it to me today.

Just got off the phone with Timney Triggers ordering gun parts while online looking at Tacoma bumpers.

I should just do cocaine, lots and lots of cocaine.... it would be cheaper.

 

There are not any good camping spots on Bald Mountain.

Like Jwrose4 said, there are a few spots with fire rings where you can squeeze a few trucks but they are right on the main trail.

Bald Mountain is fun but I would not plan on camping there if you do not have to.
