Could be, I still can't figure out the binding/popping though unless I need an axle shim but I don't think that's it. If it's still there with the Expos then I'll look into shims. Above all I just want to be able to carry weight without a saggy ass, these should be the ticket.

@eon_blue really all it needs to be is a 6lug suspension with a red uca and this thing

You could maybe lock it down to 3 colors or so and apply a sketch filter to a more clean picture of the 6lug suspension. Patches with more than 5 colors cost more and don't look as good. @eon_blue

oh, yeah, I hate my carb. I generally don't have to clean it, though. I run an in-line filter and I run the carb dry when I'm putting it away. I also run a (gasp!) K&N filter. Never had gunk build up in the carb.

I think the DRZ has made me a better rider overall. If you have a good/fast bike, but you're a novice rider, you're essentially going to be scared of the thing and not be able to push it hard.

With my under powered pig, I ride the HELL out of that thing. My mountain bike experience I'm sure helps, but I'm generally faster than most of the guys I ride with on 400's/450's, even a 500, except in the desert, lol...

agreed, if the dakars + AAL aren't squeaking by:anonymous:... then definitely time to go a different route

just curious here, but did you make sure the shackles weren't over-torqued? With all the reading I've been doing lately, this seems to be a common factor with the noise issues, that and the bushings.

yeah I have the shackles at 67 ft lbs and the front hangars at 117ft lbs, should be correct based on what I've researched. Initially I did have them overtorqued but they've been correct for several weeks now.

I'm a bit confused...so you want a patch that is an image of the ball joint spacer (the grenade looking thing) connected to a red UCA?

cause that image above is super busy it would look weird as a patch

yep, thats spot on. If you end up with OME Greasable Shackles the torque is 60, not the stock toyota 67. apparently the extra 7 will make a difference (?) lol

So true, I used to have a Daytona 675, loved it but could never even close to ride it to potential, then had a ktm 625 supermoto, learned so much on that bike, could actually halfway push the limit. Then I killed a Jeep with it

I think we need someone to sketch the suspension design first to make it more simple, then draw the spacer as a pineapple grenade for extra added funniness. I can't draw well but i have a good image in my mind

yeah I learned the hard way if they're over-torqued they don't move as freely as they should which creates some noises you don't want to hear your truck make. Same goes for the clamps that are along the leaf spring packs, those should be just over hand tight. Any tighter and they hug they leafs too tightly...the individual leafs are going to shift around no matter what (they're supposed to) but if they are up against the clamps too tightly then it makes them pop and bind.

yeah that's kind of what I was thinking too. Almost sounds like an Illustrator project....which I'm not so good at lol. You're either a pixel guy or a vector guy...I'm a pixel guy. I'll see what I can do when I get some free time

I know an artist that draws lewd things that I could probably coax into making this but it's @Sperrunner idea so I don't wanna impose

should be "fire in the hole" since those things look just like grenades. Or maybe put a grenade there in place of the ball joint spacer
