Here you go. What's cool is their mid skid has two rear mounting options, for either stock or reroute. That way no matter what you have, you'll have one smooth belly. Stock exhaust just hangs a little lower.

I already noticed that!! Closes tight too, rides on top of the grill supports too. I emailed Matt from BPfab too before you posted a response. No reply. I’m glad someone else on here found the same issue. Thanks, Aaron!

From memory, the current product was never specifically designed for the 2012-2015 Tacoma and there are slight differences between those years and the 2005-2011 Tacoma under hood design. This one is close, but not perfect. The holes on top where the plastic fasteners are used do not quite line up perfectly and it is a very tight fit to get them to sit in correctly. I ended up getting out my angle grinder and cutting the corner off from several places where the panel touched. I also added a few pieces of black padding in a few key areas where I noticed some rubbing between the hood and the piece. Maybe yours will fit a little better than mine, or maybe they have made some improvements to the original design.

But to answer my own question... I did not chop my cab mount enough the first time...

    So I went from this:

I had to do the same with my 295s. It’s a great size though and I’d do it all again.

Nope, everything u just mentioned I am having problems with. So nothing has changed! I guess I’ll have to do a little bit of trimming and fitting as well.

Thanks. I'm wanting minimal lift. Don't want to have the maintenance and squeak of uniballs either. It's also a work in progress, so not spending where I don't need it right now. Gotta figure out what to do with the rear next. I'm not jumping this truck, just want to smooth out dirt roads/washboards/ have a little fun ect.

They have a 2012-15 model but it's twice as much. Best to get the older one and trim to fit.

The lower surface would have been easier to drill but this spot is much stiffer. Better still would be up high in a Homertaco grill.
