Correct. I can open it to about 45 degrees and/or access the rear thru the window. If for whatever reason I might need the door fully open it is as easy as pulling the ladder out and swinging the door past it, less than 10 seconds of easy work. Works better for me than to have to run my awning low enough to be under the tent floor.

I just spent 3 weeks living out of it and I may have had to mess with swinging the door out completely with the ladder down 5 times. I set my tent up last since we had afternoon storms, so any other kit is already out and setup. I just pop the rear window open to grab cold beverages and food out of the fridge. I built a drop down table into my tire rack so the rear door is more a hinderance anyways.

Tired of having it on the truck. Have something in the works to fix that.

Ah see I am a pesant and cannot open the rear window on my GX. Always thought it was odd that the "luxury" version of the 4runner didnt have a rear window that would roll down.

Here's the next installment of our recent Idaho trip with @m3bassman and @pizzaviolence. Truely an amazing couple of days - the most glorious sunrise I've ever seen. EVER. And a really fun adventure to one of the highest roads in Idaho (and the excitement along the way). Oh, and the Sawtooths - so much, in so little time!

Finally joining the club and got my @Mobtown Offroad bed rack and Tepui Ayer completely on the truck today. The Ayer fits me, my wife, and Corgi perfectly but man, I definitely should have opted for a bigger tent since there's SO much room left on the bed rack haha. Looking forward to breaking it all in next weekend!
