    On those notes, I'm not going to argue with anyone...as minds wont be changed...same with politics and religion...

    Just understand that there are differing viewpoints and 1 should not be taken as gospel over the other because there are inaccuracies in all accounts...especially when dealing with things such as war and treason

    I cant dispute your second statement...however to blindly hint that only the South wanted to continue slavery is so ridiculously close-minded and incorrect

    Even the North said they went to war to preserve the union, and Lincoln outright said the abolishment of slaves in confederate states was a punishment for secession...

    Why would I want to fly the flag of the losing side? Because to me it represents so much more than just a war...but i'm weird and i like to fly other flags associated with the Confederacy that most people dont know or recognize

    Its no different than still being proud of your team after they lose to their rival at the end of the season

    Sure...we lost...but what we didnt do is back down to a bully of a federal gov't and we stood and fought, even in the direct face of outright slaughter, for what we believed in...something that not enough people are willing to do these days.





    Dont get me wrong folks...slavery is wrong...but these are different times we live in than back then. Slavery at that time was no different than any other commodity trading, such as cattle...as strange and as wrong as it seems to us now...
