Added some vinyl to the headliner. I wanted to go with a dark grey but they didn’t have what I was looking for. I settled for the black and I’m ok with it.

I just got my 2002 LineXed... besides LineXing the tailgate access panel separately,
I got them to remove the tie-down hooks (rope-hooks). Only four (out of eight) of the
tie-down hook bolts survived the removal, and some LineX got in the bolt holes
    (they warned me).

I read on the Internet about how to fix the bolt holes with LineX in them, the consensus was
to run a thread-chaser down in there. I could only find a tap in the right thread size,
so I used that, hoping not to weaken the threads too much. It worked well, as far
as cleaning out the threads goes...

The hooks were rusty, so I dremeled them down to metal and primered them. I like the OEM hooks,
I wonder how long it would take for new OEM hooks to get rusty? I wonder what I could coat my
hooks with that would last? Here's the OEM part numbers for the hooks and the bolts:

    rings: 66312-35010 [order 4 (1 per corner)]
    bolts: 90149-80034 [order 8 (2 per ring)]

I ordered new bolts, but I wanted to put my painted hooks back on for now, so I found four
stainless bolts at Home Depot that were suitable. The OEM bolts have a relief on the back
of the heads that helps keep them tight.

dude....I had to drill out mine because they sprayed over it. Done by the PO though. It caused me to put a decent size dent in the bed....

Last night I got the headlights all sorted out, thanks Zane for the help. The sealed beams werent all that sealed anymore, lenses fell off immediately upon taking off the retaining bracket thing. I also painted those brackets black. My friend told me it looks like and XJ without the front grill and stuff.

Here's the next installment of our recent Idaho trip with @m3bassman and @pizzaviolence. Truely an amazing couple of days - the most glorious sunrise I've ever seen. EVER. And a really fun adventure to one of the highest roads in Idaho (and the excitement along the way). Oh, and the Sawtooths - so much, in so little time!

Blisten 5100s up front and spacers in rear. Painted grill. Leer color matched topper.
FINALLY, got a roof rack system on. Been looking awhile not wanting to spend a fortune. Found these Yakima crossbars on craigslist. Bars were too long and wrong clips, didn't know thethere was a difference till after, but with a little modification and new clips they went on in seconds. Excited to try them out! 20180726_134810.jpg

I wish I could call adventuring in the truck home - then the answer would be "10 days ago." Unfortunately, home is still an immovable place with the same view every morning. So, I guess I've been here for 10 days now, LOL. Can't wait to get out again.

You're like my Flickr police :). Thanks, fixed them again - I try to keep them private until I post the story. Feel free to just text me if you want a faster turnaround, ahahahahhahaha

You must be as jealous as I am of his trips. I thought graduating would free up time...

It sort of did, sort of didn't. Having a 10-month-old son and working 10 hour days doesn't help. At least I get to visit some cool places for work...

I get to go on some of them, but some are just way far away from AZ and too short notice haha.
