Another option, Parker makes a dust cap for their fittings. My old tractor had them over the hydraulic quick connects for the front end loader but they'll fit 1/2" industrial air connectors. Keeps dirt off the knurled sleeves as well.

I have one similar to that on mine and it keeps falling off.

 

Doesn't surprise, I'm sure there's a lot of variation in machining. Just throwing out that there's other ways. It's also not a ton cheaper (about $12 for the genuine Parker). They do keep the fitting clean and my tractor was usually covered in a oily dirt & grass goo.

Problem is it would just rebuild my MOD pile and when I push line out to bumper from OBA no clue which of the 2 fittings I would use.

 

Do standard fittings. That way if you brake one later on it’s easier to replace

 

Totally, stick with stuff that can be repaired from any random hardware store on the road.

 

Would I need to update the ARB hose/ gauge/ filler thingy (Pure Tech speak there) to a standard fitting as well?

 

mine works fine with a ARB hose

 

Guess I am lost, why wouldn't the standard cap then fit the ARB coupler?

 

might be the Coupler I bought not sure. but i'm using a ARB hose with a standard auto Coupler I got from Mc-guckins In boulder.

 

Bump will let this go for another week or so to see if anyone else is interested and than talked to the vendor to see what we can do.

Emailed the vendor and here are some more details.

Discount Level Currently we are at 15% with those interested if we can get up to QTY 50 discount goes to 20%

I am going to let this stay open for another week to see if we can get up to 50 to get to the second tier discount level. now that we have pricing.

Vendor will provide a time limited discount code that I will send out to all parties on the list. will last a week once created.

deadline is 08/08/2018 to get up to 50 couplers. after that we will set up the code for 15% if under 50 or 20% if over.

also @Littles and @COSD vender is ok adding in the other items you where interested in!

please let me know if there are other items on the website you are interested in ordering as they might be able to be included with the coupon code just have to run it buy the vendor. OBA items like brackets and such would ok.
