209 TACOS - B/S and shenanigans

@roguegs...(or anyone else that might see this) Do you know anyone who works in (or goes to) The City (SF)?

I have a line on some wheel spacers, but I do not want to drive over there for them lol. We're talking area near SFO.

But to answer your question I don’t. Only person I can think of is @thebaker but he’s won’t be able to come across the bridge for a week or so. He usually goes up past sac.

 

Been talking to the dude for over a week. He wont budge. Wants me to drive all the way over there. I even offered to PayPal him his full asking price and trust him to ship it.

 

If he goes past sac and can get them to @FirstTimeFirstGen, I'd send him the money and pick them up from firsttime when I take him his billys back.

 

I hate people like that lol granted Craigslist has some sketchy people but damn. That’s why I like buying thru someone on TW because you can PayPal them

On another note @roguegs and @Pella... have you guys figured out when we'll be liftin your trucks? I am totally pumped to do this!

 

I don’t really know. I’m out of state but the stuff should be delivered today. I’ll be back on the 2nd. I may have access to a full shop and lift at my school, and I may be able to do it there, during class hours. So Idk what’ll happen. If I do end up doing it at school I would for sure be down to help out Angelo at your place.

 

I’m actually going to be gone until August 1 and then I can do it on Saturday August 4th.

Ideally - I would lift the front 1.75-2 inches. Install the AAL in the rear, then go to an alignment shop/tire shop and install the wildpeaks I just bought and then get an alignment for the lift.

Anyone have a connection at a local shop that can do alignments on lifted rigs?

 

The 4th works PERFECTLY for me.

McCoy tire (in Modesto) does do a good job on alignments, you just have to disregard the dude behind counter with the attitude. The actual alignment tech is good and knows his stuff.

 

Which modesto location? There are two that I saw when I looked up the company.

 

The McHenry location is the one you want.
The other location is more for commercial/fleet.

 

I have the AAL from Drtgrl for ya. I'm free August 4th and could bring em down the hill to the mod day. Might need to find something to mod myself now Could also be in charge of keeping the cooler cold and filled hahaha.

 

Well looks like the 4th it is! I don't think I have anything else planned for that day.

 

Oh and she was short one washer for the u-bolts.

Yup she told me! I was probably just going to reuse a washer thats currently on my ubolts now.

 

I've got my entire set of bolts/washers from my old u-bolts sitting in the garage and Home Depot is only 10 minutes away. We can make it work.
