Well once we get them installed we'll be essentially twinning so I'll make sure a pic goes up at least to the secret lair.

That means we are going to screw up your paint job as well?? Lol

Gonna try to get a winch before then. Maybe jimbos or Brad's since they have all the little accessories already

Yeah we can paint mine and while the paint dries install yours. As long as it's a hot non rainy day the paint will dry fast.

I didn’t, but a couple other people I know did. I did all my studying at work where no phones are allowed. I studied this pdf

    https://www.kb6nu.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/2014-no-nonsense-tech-study-guide-v20.pdf

And took practice tests on the ARRL website

    http://arrlexamreview.appspot.com/

I would read a bit of the pdf, then take a practice test. Read some more, took another test. All in all it was maybe 7 practice tests, read through the pdf one time in its entirety, and a total of about 6-7 hours. Missed one or two questions on the actual test and it only took me 6 minutes. It’s 35 questions iirc

    I used an iPhone App.

Did the practice tests on the App while on conference calls at work.

I want to get one of the TRD shifter knobs I think they look better than the old stocker, gives the interior a little flare.

Any body have advice for tapping into the trailer harness? Need to pull reverse, running, and brake leads. I'd like to avoid just splicing into the factory wiring, but I will if need be

Could tap into the wiring on one of the tail lights instead. That way it’s not on the actual trucks harness.

Good point, then a replacement tail light is all you need.

Shit, that makes this so much easier. Less wire needed in the harness I'm making, and I don't have to work under the truck.
