Black Ice Refrigerator / Freezer 63 Quart

The all new CSI® 63 Quart Black Ice Fridge/Freezer runs off of your vehicle’s 12V/24V accessory outlet for both cooling and freezing on the go. Dual zone digital LCD controls let you dial in the temperatures you want, whether you want to keep your popsicles frozen and your drinks ice cold, or remove the partition and go all in with your beverage of choice. The two included removable baskets help keep everything organized and make for easy loading and unloading and a removable drain plug makes quick work of post trip cleanup. Low power consumption and built in battery protection ensures your vehicle’s battery will always have the reserves needed to get you on the road again and a built in USB charging port helps keep your devices charged, too. An AC power supply is also included to pre-cool before your big trip or just have the convenience of cold treats in your shop.

    • LCD controls with 2 individually adjustable zones of cooling/freezing
    • 100% CFC and HFC free insulation for great performance and low energy use

    Portable Battery Pack

    • Allows portable refrigerator/freezer operation without power source
    • Two USB charging ports - 5.1V / 2.1A
    • Can operate refrigerator/freezer while charging
    • Hours of operation from a single charge
    • Fits all CSI Black Ice refrigerator/freezers
    • Dimensions: 6.1" x 3.5" x 3.1"
This battery pack works with all csi fridges the 52,63,84. Provides 4-8 hrs run time depending on the different fridge settings, models and ambient temp. The battery pack can be used alone or best as a pass through. When used as a pass through it keeps the fridge running when you shut off the car and keeps all your settings and food cold. It also prevents any compressor startup draws that sometimes affect modern charging systems. Toyota's are pretty safe but some of the Gladiator crowd have run into check engine light problems with low rpm charging when running a fridge. This is an awesome product for those who don't have a hot all the time plug.
    $225

    W60 with battery pack $650

How would you rate the volume of the fridge with the compressor running? What is the current draw from the 12v outlet?

What experience do you guys have in this market segment?

I'm potentially interested, that's a great price, just doing homework

Current draw is intermittent between .7-2.5 amp hours. On eco mode in bag out of direct sunlight 90 deg day we saw 1.25 amp hour draw across a 8 hr period.
We are not the manufacturer we build Toyota's all day. We wanted to have a certain amount of camping gear for our new website and hooked up as a distributor for these. That being said ARB discontinued the use of this design and that opened the door for the factory to market it on its own and here we are.

Appears to be another variant of the indelB / Truckfridge models. Good value for a danfoss compressor. Current draw/noise/reliability is going to be about the safe as their other models as they all run off the same compressor.

I've had a 31qt model for several years now and it's worked well. Wouldn't install it in an open truck bed.

I had an issue with the voltage cut-off switch that required taking it slightly apart. Wire connections within the vented area where the compressor lives are not weatherproof on mine. Additionally, wouldn't want all the dust and grime that comes with driving off road getting in there.

Do you think the 52 quart is small enough to fit in the backseat of a doublecab? I have a topper on the way, but it's still several months out, but I have an empty backseat all the time

They have held up great. I would blow it out every once and a while. I have yet to subject one to anything other than rain. I have yet to submerge one.....maybe I should for the next video
