What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

i just went to my local Advance Auto (sure the others have it too) and in the "performance" section got a similar filter with a 1" connection.

 

Am I the only one on here that HASN'T done the uni filter mod yet?!?!?

This page from a 2013 recalls shows no cap. I guess Toyota just puts them on if they are available? I wonder what else is missing?

I thought all the Tacomas (I4 or V6) between 2013-2015 came with the cap.

This makes sense, as my 2012 does not have a cap on it. I bought the truck with 98k miles on it, and the foam filter looked to be in good condition, so I don't know if the filter was replaced, and the cap wasn't put back on or something.

 

What kind of brush guard is that? Truck looks awesome.

 

That's crazy lol. I've had this sitting in my cart for a little while and was gunna pull the trigger and noticed it was out of stock and just a few hours later, back in stock

 

I haven't done one either the filter is on my kitchen counter.

 

I know! I tried three resellers and they were all out. I ended up getting the K&N version from a local mod shop.

 

I installed the bakflip mx4 and I had to remove the front rail to fit the mx4 rails. Has anyone or anyone knows if you can install D rings where the front bed rail goes using the pre drilled holes and bolts ?? Would it be strong enough for heavy loads?
