Someone's going into the chicken casa slumlord business.

 

It’s an old 3 car garage that was built on the property line, one wall had collapsed along with the roof. We are turning it into a one car garage and studio with the rest. This is the one that has a power line that runs over the back, we can’t condition or insulate the space, or add windows to the rear. The footprint is grandfathered. We are going to do everything we can legally, after the final inspection the client will install a mini split ac, insulation and Sheetrock.

 

The chicken coop is out in the country, no permits beyond the septic and driveway cutout. It’ll be 20’ x 40’, with water and solar. There is also going to be a greenhouse that I’ll build. I’m going to be the client owner’s representative for the building of the main house, studio house, and a huge utility shed. The shed will have the biggest residential solar installation in Austin. The client is super rich and easy to work with.

Hopefully making enough to pull all the windows and siding off the back of my house and redo it, along with building a hot tub deck. Then going back to being broke.

 

Typical TW guy, always in Mod mode. Improving the Home pays back big time. Bread 'n Butter stuff like good windows are a must. Gonna be great!

I’m at my third job site for the day. Checking dimensions in the field for this strange ships ladder “staircase”. The floor is out of level an inch, riser dimensions need altered, an air return duct needs moved almost 2 feet, without moving it I have 14 inch landing.
