Been trying to sneak up on a cap. Never thought I wanted one but I like the utility of the one on my dad's truck.

Paid for it. Gotta go back friday after work and remove it from sellers truck, take off my CB antenna and remove tool box from bed. This guy bought a very nice 2011 sport for a song. Doesnt like driving with a topper.

What I'd really like is a hard bed cover, like Undercover or similar. One piece, strong enough to stand on. Would like to keep my center of gravity low. For reasons.

Uhhhgggg! Just did round one of a mandated (by our insurance underwriter) webinar on "combustible dust". Round 2 on Monday. Then a test on Tuesday. Mostly covers grain silo's, etc, where dust is more common. Golf courses fall into the same category as agricultural industry. So we have to jump through same hoops. Oh well. Beats working.

Near 30 years ago, when I first started working here at the country club, I told my dad I would some day write a book about my not-so-real-world experiences. This place is unbelievable at times. Well....Time to start typing. I just had a great epiphany....The working title for my novel..

CLUBBED TO DEATH...A written history of my career as a country club property manager.

    What say ye?

I have a feeling I'll be a scorned man with the club set....This place is a trailer park with a high rent address. They might not like the world to know just exactly what goes on inside these hallowed halls...

That was intense.....4-1/2 hour sprint is over!

There was a plan to get the topper home. It centered around a casual Saturday. I get home today to find a note taped to the garage door. Someone wanted 3 whiskey barrels delivered. They'd toss in an extra $50 for delivery.

    DONE! There's $275 quick cash!

I get back from that chore just in time to take the call from the seller (topper) that he was headed out of town @ 4am tomorrow. He'd be gone 2 weeks. If I wanted the topper I had to pick it up tonight. So....75 mile drive....load it on my trailer....75 miles back home. Just got back. I triedto take a picture. Dark gray topper in a poorly lit driveway at night....picture didnt turn out.

ARE topper with front slider glass, fold out side windows, light kit (inside) keys, mounting kit, headliner, in MGM dark gray. It will be painted Silver Streak Metallic before install.

Roof rack will be installed shortly after.

Next phase of build is here.
