I'm approaching 3 years and still haven't hit 20,000 miles.

    However,

I will die before I get rid of THE ASPHALT AVENGER!!! She's a "forever truck."

FWIW I thought I would be getting a travel trailer after retirement and needing my truck. Wife spent last week in Florida and we now share family ownership of a 3 br 2 ba single garage condo in Florida. Looks like that is where all my upcoming travels have been routed. No need for that travel trailer. Probably a good time to get something for interstate cruising. As far as furniture going to just buy everything local there and pay to have it all setup.

Congratulations Steve! I remember you explaining the prospect. Nice to hear it happened. You know though, a truck can sure haul a lot of goodies to the beach or toys to the water

Wife will have her suv. Gonna leave kayaks in outer banks for use in the sound. Paying $85 @ month in fees to have condo lawn taken care of. Only thing hauling there will be linens and a tool box. Thinking a Camaro or a Challenger might fit my needs. Keeping house here so thinking about getting another 1st Gen taco. All up in the air. Just toying with ideas. Do love my truck but not married to it. Probably ride down in a few weeks to see. Just waiting on the title search to complete the deal.

That kind of offroading? That could have happened on a flat trail that was just tight . BTW the same could be said for all the cutesy aesthetic mods you've decided to put on. How people can buy a 40k truck and turn it into a carnival looking mess makes me cringe.

Melbourne close to Palm Bay (where bro-in-law is currently building his retirement house). Is 6 miles to his house and 7 miles to ocean.

If I sell it all the mods stay with it and any stock stuff that I have remaining goes with it too. Probably over $4k in mods.

I am a bit south of that (Treasure Coast). Most of the beaches here are "young" sand, meaning crushed coral, shells, etc. Kind of like a fine gravel, a bit larger grains and sharper than the sand in the keys, gulf, or north Florida.

A lot of our local beaches have been "replenished" by pulling sand in from off shore which was originally washed away by natural erosion.

Old sand make for nicer beaches, IMHO.

Either way congrats on you new FL home. I hope you find plenty time to relax and all sorts of things to enjoy! :hattip:

    Good luck!!!

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Ha! You know the modding process would just start all over again, right? Sure, at first you'd be saying "It's fine the way it is, I'm not doing all that other stuff over again." but then, there'd be this "just one thing" that really needed to be changed. Then just one other. Then... Bwahahahaha.

Discount Tire will move the sensors for free and you get lifetime rotations if you buy the rims through them. Free rotations on just the tires too.
