My 3 month old battery took a shite today. Went to the dealer. Asked if they could put a 27F in. Yes. Battery prices are all 136 bucks. Ordered a new tray from a gen 2. I'll swap it out tomorrow. Total cost 40 bucks for the tray. Happy. IMG_20180726_131504116-800x600.jpg

Sorry to hear that things didn't work out exactly as you anticipated. Life is full of compromises, not all of them exactly to our liking but happy wife happy life. If you have kids or better yet grandkids you could always keep that Taco get some camping gear or an RTT and slip away every now and then.
However it works out I wish you the best. Good luck.

Added CoverKing Neoprene Seat Covers and sliced open my finger on the underside of the passenger seat. I guess they send you those kevlar gloves for a reason.

A whole lot to consider right now. Hard to consider selling the truck that I just paid off in April. Time will tell. Wife will probably work here another 3-5 years before she retires. So the Florida deal will be used at minimum from June until Labor Day by us for the next few years plus a few weeks during the school year. Bro-in-law will stay there until construction is complete on his house this fall or winter. Mother in law will be there around 3 months a year too. My wife, kids and grandkid already spend quite a few weeks and weekends between the outer banks NC and Florida anyway. Personally I like my home. Would have been happy with a trailer on a lot in Florida. Obviously I had nothing to do with the purchase. Wife is a happy camper though. They made it home in 12 hours Saturday so that isn't too bad. I just know I would like a good car for those trips. Gonna look long and hard at travel options. Might drive the truck there next month before deciding what to buy, sell or keep.

Excellent Rob, you should hit that link in my sig and go over the LED Conversion thread and post this up. Those guys would love to see and hear about these, as did I.

Maybe post up some links to them and other LED mods you have going on.

Good luck with those covers. I paid nearly $600 for the same covers on wifes suv. Straps busted and covers were junk after 6 months. Thankfully I put Clazzios in my truck and after 2.75 years they still look new.

Did the straps tear from the covers or just snap/break?

I have been running the xspeed amber led bulbs in my signals a few months with no hyperflashing. What brand are these.

They kept getting loose after getting in and out. No matter how much I secured them they never held tight and eventually ripped from the covers. I posted all this years ago in the Clazzio thread. I hope you have better luck. For the money Clazzio are the best covers I have ever seen and I have never adjusted them or had to tighten them. Maybe yours are a newer better designed version. The CoverKings were a perfect color match and are still in use but look like Hefty bags after 2.75 years.

My wife has a very big dislike of leather which is why I didn't even look into Clazzio. This is the first vehicle I have purchased seat covers for. I used the install tool to tuck the covers in around the trim pieces and at least at the moment it seems like a decent fit, hopefully I will still think so after a few months, if not I may have to show my wife Clazzio's and try to convince her to go that route.

New to me and I recently added a similar bar to mine. I looked all over for something and never turned that up. It's funny, when you search you can't type in "Bumper Light Bar Bar" I used "Bumper Light Bar Mounting System", and found a thread on here that @smugly started about them, and ultimately installed one myself.

A few days ago, I cut some new OR Wheel decals and tested the bronze color. I'm on the fence about them because the blacked out wheels are hard to beat.
