I see lots of the new raptors too. Design is gorgeous

Mid size trucks are "hot" right now.

I think part of the reason is that the "car" market is shrinking, and car drivers who might buy a pick up are somewhat intimidated by large trucks- the mid size is more acceptable.

These people might just as easily buy a Ranger, if it is marketed correctly.

Just my opinion, no empirical evidence to support the claim.

It's a problem of misconceptions. I agree there is a very small market for regular cabs, but extended cabs have plenty of room without compromising the hauling capability. I like the extra space and my daughters fit back there nicely. Even I fit for short trips.

Wow 7l v8 2nd gen raptor, that is pretty cool if they do it. Have you heard one of the v6 turbo raptors? They sound pretty lame to me. A large v8 would be much better.

Me and you wanted one. That is 2. I think the midsize truck sector is in cahootz with the full size truck sector on the regular cab deal. If there were mid size regular cabs out there, fleet customers would quit buying F150s. Just a theory.

One of these other discussions, someone linked to a f150 forum called ecoboom. Seems it's not uncommon for them to go well below 10k miles. The amount of people chiming in with blown turbos was staggering. Granted they do sell a lot.

I've read lots of complaints on here about the tacoma. But there aren't threads dedicated to engine's being replaced early, like there are about the ecoboost.

Sweet! I hit 2 of 8. eBay grille and sema's. To be fair, the sema's are nice and the pro grille was too cheap to pass on.

I find the 7 liter v8 to be suspicious.

The utility package is a great option for the ACs. I like what I can pack in the back of mine with the seats. Although, I do wish they did the storage box lids like yours and found a different way to stow the belt buckles. I do keep my bed cargo net rolled up in the space between the two bins.

I agree F150 Raptors are by far the best looking truck out there. I don't think I could ever cough up 70K fro one tho.

Nope! I've reset my wants for cars and trucks. The Taco is exactly what I needed. Prices are high these days, but it is under the average and we get a lot for that price.

Yeah new raptor is best looking truck out there

Lots of non truck suburban people (Tesla x, s550, G63 in garage), have new raptor for husband or wife to go to office in

It has pierced through many societal coastal barriers

It is supposed to mean that the vehicle has been tested on the rubicon trail and can complete it without modification. Give a little idea of capability. All jeep models are not trail rated for example so it give someone and idea of capability

Yeah. There was a stat that I read a long time ago that the F150 was the best selling car among the wealthy. I guess if you need a truck to haul your toys. . .
