    Crap.
Friggin pad is giving me fits tonight.
    Didn’t post half my reply.
This happened to me like 25 years ago.
    I’m fine.
Thank you for the offer. If I lose my job this time I hope it will be on purpose

Now that trick I know lol and @Ret CB is not likely to like this lol in the early 80's I was an HVAC installer , we mainly did industrial / restaurants. We had a crew of carpenters we worked with a lot doing Papa Ginos restaurants they were famous for their oak wainscoting laid on a diagonal. Well the carpenter crew thought it was great fun to sit around at lunch time and shoot finish nails into our flexi duct lines for the over head diffusers. Which promptly started whistling as soon as we powered up the system. Well they left their boxes of framing nails out by the back door sooo one Friday night after they left and we were finished well the bathrooms were not installed yet soo. Those boxes were awful wet when we left on that Friday afternoon. Come Monday when they loaded up their aprons and started framing the knee walls we had all we could do not to fall off the ladders when they would put a few in their mouth and do their thing lol . Hey don't make us change flex duct cause your an asshole and those things won't happen .

Thanks for confirming my thoughts and decision DD, your opinion carries true weight and value for me. :fistbump:

Randy, fish/hunt partner and best friend really, moved to swings almost a year ago; we’ll be back on close to same schedule and able to carpool 3/4 of the pay period. Haven’t a single reason not to make the move while the opportunity is here. :)

Equipment is moved. Had planned to take a 3 day weekend till I was told I had to have my computer based training (FISSA) done before Monday. So I'll swing into the office probably Saturday, rack up some OT.

I've watched many times when I lived in San Bernardino and all the wildfires seeing Cal Fire Aircraft do some amazing things

About 4 years ago during the bad wildfire on Mt San Gorgonio and watching the Cal Fire DC 10's #910 and #911 do retardant drops and flying thru tight canyons at under 500' . These Pilots were flying these aircraft as if they were military aircraft

 I think I'll be ok. I just hope he's not doing some naked tractor riding when I get there.

I was really hoping it would go the other way.

We’ve had that fly on fires over by us before. I’ve watched it do slurry drops. It amazes me how slow and low they are able to fly that beast.
