Think the plan is to leave GTA around noonish so maybe 3-4pm?

I'm likely coming by only for camp, and will just ride bitch seat with whoever wants lol

 

Well... That's done.
Sandblasted, epoxy primer, urethane finish. Gloss black. I'm thinking of Rhino Lining the entire bumper to hide the imperfections where it was really rusty before

Our Toronto Overland Convoy is starting at noon, so 4ish will be ETA for now.

 

Bumper looks to be sitting high. Use a couple of washers (totaling ~1/4" thick for reference) between the bumper bracket and the front crossmember. This will provide a larger gap between the fenders and the bumper (for flexing off-road), and reduce the gap between the bumper and the front valance plate.

Make sure there's at least 1/2" gap between the bumper and the A/C line going into the condenser.

Thanks for the tip. It's just the perspective of the pic. About 5/8 clearance all round. I didn't do the poly bushings. Assembled and installed between 930 and 11pm last night. No time for extras.

 

Sounds good. I'm aiming to get there sometime around 1-2. Hopefully I can get a decent spot for all of us.

 

Are you guys planning on wheeling Friday or just get there set up camp and chill?

 

Depends on time. If we get there close to dinner time I’ll be most likely setting up camp and relaxing.

 

That was pretty much my plan .

 

I'm up for whatever. That being said I wouldn't be against a short trail run on friday evening.

Do any of you guys own a good axe you can recommend from crappy tire/ princess auto etc. Got some quick fists to mount might as well upgrade my axe now too
