I brain farted on the location of the panel, when I first looked at it, it seemed like it had replaced the gearshifter. Now I see it’s right behind it.

It was a PIA between getting 4WD to work and keeping AC!! still working out a couple tuning issues but real close. Also my front is completly tubed out so not sure if wouldve been easier without the shock hoops and gussets

In my opinion it's not worth the $. The functionality is limited for tacos and while you can put some tunes on your truck, it basically is an over priced mpg monitor lol

hey that paint job looks really good! I was planning on doing something similar, were you able to take the panels apart? or did you have to tape them off? mostly curious about the panels around the shifter

The center console cover around the shifter comes off if you just remove the shift knob, grasp both sides on the panel near the bottom, and pull upwards. The clips will release, and you can remove the panel. I just taped it off with 3-M auto masking tape, trimmed the tape with an ex-acto knife, and spray painted with matching body color paint from Automotivetouchup.com.. The dash panel requires you to remove the radio and A/C control panel, then remove the center panel for masking and painting. It isn't THAT hard to do, just take your time. There are some videos showing how to do that if you don't have a Chilton's or similar service manual.
