Scored a good deal on Craigslist on some SR5 T4R wheels, I really love the way they look. I am pondering some black or bronze paint though. . .

I feel dumb for asking but what is the situation with lug nuts and wheel locks? I'm seeing both my 06 Tacoma and the 17 4Runner TRD OffRoad rims that i'm putting on both are 6x5.5 and 12x1.50 threads. But shopping on Amazon it says it will fit the rim but not my 06 Tacoma. Is this something to do with length? I'm not getting lug nuts with purchase of rims, so if i can re-use my original lugs I will, but the problem still exists for wheel locks. Also, any recommendations on specific locks?

I re used my original lugs and locks. It's very close though, the 4 runner lug nuts are longer/deeper.

FYI these are very strong wheels! I got T boned directly into a wheel at 30 mph and it only gouged the wheel (repairable) but it wrote off his corolla! The front of his car was totally buckled.

They are also very heavy for alloys.

Looks like I’m going with a set of those wheels. Not as common as some of the other trd wheels I see on the yotas around here.

Now to decide whether or not to go with the all silver or black inlay.

Bought these 265/70R17 for $600, wheels and tires had 20k miles on them. May go more aggressive for next tire purchase but since, in my opinion, I got a good deal I'm going to wear these tires down until my next set.

Those are some sharp wheels. I really wish I'd held out for a set, rather than the crappy tire store ones I'd purchased.

I tried everything to get those Pro Center Caps to work, and to no avail nothing. Tell us the secret please.

I built the tabs out with dental acrylic until they locked into the grooves but you could probably use several other things such as epoxy putty. The tabs are in the right place they just need to be built out about a quarter inch. The caps fit perfect on the outside.
