Not much editing at all. Those I were lazy with and let PS auto white balance and brightness correction. Wanna sell your 85 mm? :)

Lol. NEVER!! Once you go primes, you never go back. These two lenses have helped me learn how to frame and compose properly and thus I'll never sell them. Look at photography-on-the.net, they have alot of items for sale. I picked up my 85/1.8 for a really good price. Good luck.

It's funny how the Nikon-Canon likes and dislikes are worldwide. Viet, I've always liked your stuff...creative and innovative.
I on the other hand use something out of the norm...Olympus E3. I have too much invested to switch and get the same range of good glass or I too would jump in the mix.
By the way...love the photo forum on here.

yea, the PSP is totally worth it with the employee discount. I used to work at bestbuy when I was in college and the markup on those accessories are pretty crazy.

What is the shutter life of the D60? I know the higher end prosumer grade cameras (d200, d300, etc) are around 100-150k or so. Not sure what the shutter life of consumer grade cameras are.

I'm going to venture against a dirty sensor. I see no specs in any image and if it was messing up AF, the whole image would be OOF. It looks like there's a biased left sided blur. I'll guess that it's your lens and or lens mount. One of your glass groups may have dislodged or maybe the lens isn't seating on the body properly.

*edit: did you test your images with a different lens?

I have to agree with Dys here...you are shooting wide open bro you said you were shooting 1.4? If so then you are going to get that affect in all your shots when you shot that wide open...I for one love taking wide open shots because it allows me to showcase exactly what I want the person viewing the shot to look at. Take a look at these shots I took of my brothers truck, the focus is my brothers truck, not the trees or the signs, I wanted my brothers truck to be the only thing people could focus on.

Ohhh and I shot these with my Prime 50m F1.4 :D Like you said! Once you go prime there is nothing like it! Hahaha :p

Also for the record I've shoot over 40,000 images on my old D70 and it's still going strong. I can't say I have ever heard of a camera having a limit of photos you can shoot. The only thing I can tell by looking at your first couple of shots is that they are very soft, your 2nd set are a litte more sharper. But other then that I see nothing wrong.

Drop it. Break it. Get a brand new one, don't use the new one though. Sell it as a new one and use the cash towards the purchase of an upgrade. That's what I would do

what was the turnaround time they gave you to send it out and get cleaned? I got the PSP on my D70s and it is expiring at the end of the month. Trying to decide if its worth sending it in to get cleaned and checked before the warranty expires.
