Fyi ... have the flaps on 2018 dc off- road and worked great with stock tires and suspension. However just put the 17 sema with ko2 and they rub the inner front flap at full lock. Have not investigated a fix but hoping it is just a matter of shortening spacer.

I'm running those. No complaints. And they look good

265/70 R17 ... the one everyone said do not rub on stock suspension however probably did not have this mud flap. It is rubbing on inside mounting point where a spacer is used to let the flap be flat with outside mount points ... not a big deal but annoying.

I'm running 265/70/17 KO2s with no mudflap rub. I have a 1.5-2" lift in the front though which I don't think makes a difference.
I did swap the spacers provided with the rek gens. The two longest spacers I swapped from front to back

Good to know ... will check that out ... thought the spacers were the same size.

if that is the case, they definitely rub with stock suspension with this wheel/tire combo ... will need to trim spacer shorter. Was going to look at it today and keep everyone posted.

Did you just spray paint the hardware? What kind of paint?

Several coats of rattle can primer, and many many coats of rattle can black. I figure they are in a high abuse area. Whatever was at home depot.

Cut the spacer to 3/4 inch in length and now clears fine.

Love these flaps. Little tricky putting them on without removing wheels but I made a custom tool for it.

Harborfreight has a 90 degree angle screwdriver for 3 bucks ... worked perfectly.

Good idea! I believe that you can do the same thing with a 1/4" ratcheting wrench to make installation a little faster.

I was looking everywhere hoping I had one. But I have limited tools at my apartment and couldn’t wait until work the next day.

Those look absolutely perfect on your SR.

Good idea on the wrench in a pinch. I used a 1/4 ratchet and socket to fit your allen bit into.

So that hole by itself where the long self tapping screw is supposed to go. What holds it there? The hole is much larger in diameter than the screw is. Should I have received a nut and bolt for that area?
