Wheeler's replied and said they were dropping some in the mail. All good. @eon_blue I know you posted about issues with yours (spring clips - inserts), did you torque them down or just leave the clips finger tight?

Just having a pickup truck with a stock bumper with a class III hitch is usually good enough for that.

Got re-ended by a kid in a BMW several years back in my 04 DBLcab 4x4. My hitch went up the the middle of his hood and effed up his grill/bumper real good. He was pissing coolant all over the freeway. I had a small scratch on my hitch and bumper.

It helps when your bumper is higher than theirs, and they just get smashed underneath you, lol

We talking about the spring clamps with the long cylindrical washers between them? Those I torqued down so that they were just over hand tight (so they wouldn't come loose on me while driving/off roading). My initial mistake was over-tightening them which caused the leafs to bind up, so you don't want them too tight. But not so loose that the bolts are going to come loose on you.

The lower they are, the more they emulate a speed bump.

    "did you feel something?"

    Also: skid plates...

the trick is, do it right the first time. junk those cheap ass stock front bushings and replace them with ES bushings, junk those yellow OME bushings as well and replace them. Those inserts are just prone to breaking from what I've seen across the forum.

You know i find it funny tyler wants a base line between no lift and lift on his truck for off roading but he didn’t think of doing that for 2wd vs 4wd lol
