Get a blank metal black plate frame. I did from Amazon. About $15 if I recall.

Man, that "Hick 25/8" comment made me spray coffee. Sorry about the laugh at your expense OP!

Flip that dealer frame over and PM @tcBob for a Tacomawworld decal to place on the frame.

    Free and awesome.

    Win, win

    No need to thank me.

Damn you! My wife is tired of these inane Tacoma purchases, and there you go, tempting me with an even dumber purchase.

I had to buy this, I was born in raised in White Center (suburb of Seattle), which is the birthplace of the "Taco Time" restaurant. I love the double meaning on my truck, plus I'm currently frameless.

In my opinion, there is also a difference between the manufacturer advertising on what I bought (Nike, Toyota, etc) and the retailer advertising. Foot Locker doesn't put their logo on the Nike shoes you buy. Best Buy doesn't put their logo on the TV you buy. Car dealerships do put their logo on the vehicle you buy. I bought a Toyota, not a "Toyota of name your dealer"...

Yeah, but you carried that Foot Locker bag out the door and to your car... short term versus long term advertising. Both are effective. Ever wonder why they put those pretzel places in the mall and makes them fresh? Smell and sight is what brings the next wave of customers in. Most people are sheep and have no clue they are being led. Think about that new Toyota commercial where the TRD Pro is in the corral and they are trying to "tame" it. Think about all the subconscious symbolism there. Think about the dust cloud that just "happens" while they are getting a shot of the new "high intake" on the Pro.
Geez, think about your favorite TV show... look at the product placement in them! Even when they put tape over a logo to keep the audience from seeing it... what are you doing? Studying it to determine what the logo is!

Maybe you carry it in their bag (and I admit I do on rare occasion) but generally, I either have my own bag (hate the waste-fil plastic bags) for carrying or just tell them to give me the receipt and carry the product). And even if I have their bag, it lasts as long as getting to my vehicle.

As for the mall thing, I've never once in my life eaten food at a mall. The smell must not work on me.

I can't speak to the TV thing... I don't watch TV.

To bring this back to the question at hand:
I vote for a plain black frame (if you have to have one)... less is more imo

The stickers on your tailgate, the black on red, are really cool. Are those things hard to apply? And can they be removed? My old hands are getting pretty shaky.

Dealer license plate bracket removal was the first "mod" I did! Luckily there were no stickers on there anywhere

I run my plate without a bracket as I like the look of my plate. There is no need for the bracket in the back. NM doesn't run a front plate.
