That is true, it has been an ongoing issue since the beginning of the truck and the tune.
I have never experienced it, since I am 6MT.....
I have recommended the OVTune before, it's worth it......

 

In reading the other posts about this particular TSB, it seems it is a toss up whether dealers are updating per customer request, or if they have to replicate the problem before they will do it.

Generally speaking, I think it comes down to whether that particular dealer wishes to do the work, or not. Some people posted that their dealer simply updated because the customer asked them to, whereas others posted saying their dealer told them they couldn’t replicate the problem and therefore couldn’t apply it.

I’ve only had my 18 Trd Sport for about a momth, but have wondered since day 1 why it has a hesitation at WOT. Sounds like this TSB fixes that. Why wouldn’t the dealer want to satisfy its customers and just apply the update?

 

Extra work and effort that they aren't getting paid for. My truck actually drives fine, about 1x every 2 weeks I will get the surge but its not unbearable. I just want to be able to press the gas and merge without worry.

 

That's awesome, lol. I park in the back of the lot away from everyone.. The car next to me is someone I can trust not to ding my truck so I can have some protection on both sides.

Not yet. :/ We make our own Caribou lou. Keep pineapple juice, malibu and bacardi around just for it.

There is a new TSB released on 7-17 that is suppose to fix precisely that. It is labeled as a fix for a stumble when going WOT, but I’ve read other posts where people are saying it is an overall improvement.

 

Gomers near 39th had it a week ago.

 

I saw it at Mike's off 85th and Wornall maybe a week ago.

 

Saw a grey 3rd gen go to Dollar General off 140th in Grandview on my way to work.

 

Trifecta at Gomers.

 

Lowe's and Home Depot are usually pretty good places to stalk Tacos....

 

No luck at those stores yet, lol.

I did see 2 at Hy-vee. Went to 4 locations looking for Bou Lou, it's possible we're not going to see them again until Novemeber. @Slashaar

 

You aren't missing anything in my opinion.

 

I've already tried them and they're alright, but not my type of beer to keep drinking to get a little drunk. Was trying to find some for @Slashaar.
