Have you ever held or even shot one? The weight of it sucked ass but the ergonomics of it far surpassed the SCAR. The stock was way better, the foreend choices were way better, and I would say the grip is a wash because there's no replacing the grip on the ACR (which is stupid) whereas the SCAR you can change grips, but the existential crisis when you realize you just paid out your dickhole for an FDE colored A2 grip sucks.
If you bought an ACR during its disastrous launch period you were taking a risk. Unfortunately all the issues got sorted after it had flopped commercially. If you bought one off the shelf now it's not a bad gun, just heavy AF.

The SCAR is not a bad gun either, it's just very much over rated. People line up to jerk each other off over it like it's the best thing ever. It's a solid piece but nothing exceptional, but don't say that to the FN fanboys. If you don't literally cum your pants at the sight of one you're a heretic.
