At dealer waiting for my TSB 0062-18, have wandered around in the "forbidden" zone, the show room floor. Found those 2 special deal trucks.

I love that "Market Adjustment" for $5k on the TRD Pro and where does that $199 Tacoma Emblem go?

Nice, but the first one looks like the add ons are $9200 for basically the lift and 18” wheels.

Everything else like paint protection is useless. Reminds me of Jerry Lundegaard in Fargo

The 5k market adjustment is there way of jacking up the price. Basically they claim the pro is rare, or in high demand to justify the magic made up number.

Was looking at the sticker and was like, "That really isn't that bad". Then saw the OTHER sticker to the right. Holy fuck.

Market Adjustment is typically used for limited production vehicles. The only time I've personally seen this was from Ford on rare Mustang models that were individually numbered. Specifically the 2009 Mustang GT500KR, since they only made 1,000 of them. How this dealership justifies that on a mass produced TRD Pro, with a few dealer add ons, is beyond me...but if people are willing to pay it, they will keep doing it.

The real problem are the guys buying these things. I do blame the dealer...but I blame the people buying them 100 times more. Products don't exist if no one buys them.
