Oh and the reason I am asking is because I am trying to make one and I just wanted to know if anyone else has and how it went!

I made two sets last winter. I will snap some pics when I get home.

One set was a Virginia Tech theme that I made for my brother as a Xmas present.

I also made a set of JMU/ODU (The colleges that my wife and I went too).

I painted them, laid the logos, and polyurethaned over it all to seal it. They came out really nice, but took a good amount of time to make ( mainly with the paint/poly).

if you are just making bare board, it takes a few hours only.

Yeah, I'v made a couple. They are really easy since you just cut a sheet of ply wood in half and there's your top board dimensions. Then you just need to cut feet and some trim boards out of 2x4's and your good 2 go. DO IT!

Made a set of them last week. I made mine 3'x2' instead of 4'x2' to save space. I also opted to go with 1x4's with a center support and 1/2" Sanded ply to save weight. I think I spent $45 in materials (the ply was the most expensive part @ $15 a sheet). Then I bought the bags at Dicks sporting goods.

I felt like 2x4's and 3/4" ply would be too heavy. Seemed a bit overkill to me.

I plan to paint and do a logo! I am going to do a duke and Carolina board! What size logo did you put down and was it a sticker or just paper or what?

Yep from that website posted above.

Pretty easy though..3'X2' then the back needs to be 12" from ground to the top of the board. Standard board size is 4x2...3x2 makes it a little more challenging :D

True that! I am thinking about putting hinges on the 2 boards so that they can be put together and form a box for easier carrying and then put a handle somehow!

Yep, I have seen people do that. I have also seen people at the beach that put straps on them so they can be worn like a backpack. For going to the beach and stuff, makes it easier carrying your gear off the beach. I think im gonna do that with mine. Im gonna bring them to the beach with me this year.

You have two boards with a 6" hole about 9" on center from the top of the board. 8 bags (mine have sand in them) 4 one color, 4 another color.

Usually two teams of two. Boards are ~27' apart I think. I usually just eyeball it. Drink lots of booze. your team member is on the opposite board to you. You throw the bag at across to the other board. If you get it on the board you get 1 point, if you get it in the hole you get 3 points. The kicker is that your opposing team can cancel yours out..Lets say you throw your 4 bags and get 2 on the board, 1 in the hole, and 1 miss and your opposing team person gets 1 in the hole and 1 on the board with 2 misses. you get 1 point. you(3+1+1=5) other team(3+1=4) 5-4=1 since you had more points you get 1 point. Lets say you both get 2 on the board, then there are zero points for that round. We usually play to 21 points. Its actually quite fun..especially when intoxicated :D
