My truck came with ghetto aftermarket foglight wiring and the fog lights didnt work. After searching on here I dug around in my truck and found the factory fog light wiring, as well as the factory fog light relay already installed. I simply hooked up the wires to the bulbs, installed the switch and now I have fog lights! The best part is that I didnt have to buy anything to do it! :)

Technically yesterday since I took her late at night to car wash but cleaned the old gal up a bit and did a little more wet sanding compounding and polishing on the scabby doorIMG_20180728_000059.jpg IMG_20180728_000142.jpg

I'm not kidding when I say that I recommend getting a Virginia CCW permit as soon as you get there. Being military it's super easy. Just fill out the application, and take that along with your orders to the court and pay $50. Two weeks later you'll have your permit.

The marine corps exchange at camp allen in norfolk has a glock blue label program and it's tax free so you can get a brand new glock for about $400.

I only say all the because Newport News can be sketchy as fuck. There's shootings there all the time.

Made a jig for drilling/tapping/cutting the t-nut stock I'd made. There are 4 pieces of aluminum stock and each one nets 3 t-nuts. The spacer at the end lets me drill and tap all of them without moving the jig on the drill press table.

Also made up an awg10 4-wire harness to go from the bussman to the center console.

Aaand drilled a hole under the drivers seat to get to the center console where the compressor relay, ground buss, and seat heater relays are located. I painted the 11/16" grommet hole with cold galvanizing compound as well. 0745DCD2-3F96-496D-BC6A-E37939BC6D0D_zps_1bed79b2bf60be440b7e55be45f8f80dc13b5ac5.jpg

I haven't actually installed the harness yet though. I'm going to change the covering from 3/8" split loom to something solid.

Pelicans FTW! They’re so much better than all other coolers, I can’t figure out why anybody would buy a different one.

Probably because they're expensive. RTIC are like half the price last I checked.

3 Chihuahuas and a weiner dog mix, plus a tarantula. It is going to be an exciting trip.

Is no one going to comment about the gator?
Is this a common event in Florida to have a gator come for a visit?
