Some areas got hit hard. We are up on a hill so we are good. The worst is behind us hopefully. No rain the next two days. A town about 22 miles north of us was bad, Newville pa. I have friends and coworkers who live there, all good.

As for what can go wrong ..lol have a bucket and plenty of towels ..;) Tightening those bolts scared me i kept waiting to hear that tell tale tick noise of the tank cracking ..

    Morning all.

Barber visit this morning. I found a camper for sale but wifey isn't impressed. 19' Scamp 5'er deluxe. Older unit that needs a little work... But don't we all? There's a few things to get done around they yard today - we'll see what happens. It's nice being alone in the house for the last few days. I let the dog roam around the house at night instead of being in the kitchen; she's on cloud 9. Warden returns tomorrow afternoon...

French press is our emergency backup.

Even less up here. 5th wheels are very scarce in the NE. The only thing keeping me from being more serious on buying is that it's outside of Pittsburgh which is a good drive for me.

Scamps are very similar to mine all fiberglass they hold value check out fiberglassrv.com . The only thing I have seen on the really old ones is check the frames for corrosion / cracks.

The photos of the frame look ok but we all know photos may not tell the whole story. There's a soft spot in the floor where the shower must have leaked. I could fix that without any problems. I'd be replacing the carpet anyway with vinyl plank. The asking price takes that into account. It's logistics on getting it to CT. I need the hitch to mount in the bed but have to fabricate spacers out of steel for the bed bolts between the bed and frame. Can't really do that out there. I really need him to deliver it (or find someone with a compatible 5th hitch - hi buddy)...

    Yup. Have everything including gasket.
Toilet is OEM 1950's for the house.
    Large tank Turbo-Flush.
I'd hate to break it and end up with one of those greenie-weenie, low capacity modern ones.
