I ran out of arm in my mid 40's when reading stuff.
I have cheater glasses all over the place ranging from 1.5 for reading and 2.5 for close up work.

Distance...no problem.
I can still see a tick on a deer at 100.

 

It's a great time, I went up with Uncle Jed's BBQ team one year to help them compete and had a blast. Look for them and make sure to ask them for a pulled pork cannoli. It's not on the menu.

 

What a waste of a half day. Had the full intention to go cut my father in law's grass since he's in Portugal all summer, and right as I get out of my eye doctor appointment, it starts to pour. And still pouring, and thundering. FAK!

 

You are seeing this in the wrong light. Mother Nature is trying to tell you to enjoy the afternoon with the tree house supplies you secured yesterday.

 

LOL! I would love to, but I want to let them sit for a bit and "settle" before I start drinking them.

 

Really, first I have heard of this, my buddies say drink them before they get old.

Well in your case, get to the beer or liquor store and practice till things are "settled"

Better yet, sample them daily so you can "see how they progress"

 

I've got some stuff to hold me over. LOL!

only gonna let the Tree House "sit" for a week and a half before I start going to town on it. My neighbor calls it "can shock" from being canned so fresh. Not that there is anything wrong with drinking right away it'll still be great. But says a week and a half later is when they "peak" and it'll be even better.

 

LMAO! I could, that's a good point. I did get a few of each so that wouldn't be a problem.

 

A lot of people who need glasses for distance get the Lasik and then need reading glasses...If you think about it you remove your distance glasses when you read (or should) so once you correct for that you are now forcing your eyes to read through lenses that are not the way they have been your entire life...I wear glasses for distance but have excellent up close vision. I can see tiny specs on tiny specs. I read iBooks on the smallest font..But if my contacts are in I really have to work hard to read regular newsprint...

I think it’ll be fine. If it’s their first time they’ll be mesmerized by the whole thing. I used to take mine when they were little. Wouldn’t get a peep outta them until the movie was over. Good times.
