255CC7F4-416F-4A1F-A88E-18876E8E1AF6.jpg has anyone had any experience removing the dash pad on the passenger side. Wanting to replace this material from the dash and door panel arm rest. I’ve searched the forum and can’t find any info on removing the dash pad. Anybody know of anyone who has or maybe a link to a thread? Thanks

I probably would mess with passenger dash material... isnt that where the airbag is?

Not a clue. If I was to remove. Just disconnect the battery, recover, reinstall

It’s been over a year so my memory is really foggy on this. I think I followed a service manual process I found on this site. I believe I had to remove the radio surround trim and at least pull the climate control piece out a bit and lower (slightly) the globe box to access a couple screws for the dash pad. It really is pretty easy and will take a couple of minutes only once you know the process. Order of removal does matter so look for some instructions. The airbag is not connected in any way to the pad.

It’s easy. Remove the dash panel around the hud. Then you can access the passenger pad thing. There is 1 screw and a couple of clips.
