Putting my 3rd gen Off road rims up for sale. They are in excellent shape and come with stock tires that have 70%tread. Curious what you guys actually sold them for as all I have seen is asking price. I dont want to get lowballed lol.

I sold mine for $800, at the time they had no miles on them. That was rims only

$800 rims only? You found a sucker for sure. They go for $350-400 rims only here. Tires have so many variables.

I technically sold mine for $650 with tires. Initially was going to sell for $800, but scratched up the rear right the day before...

Sold them to a TW member and at the time they were not as available. Going rate was $800

Anyone who sells those rims for less is a chump, as they are worth more than the TRD wheels. Toyota sells them for $400 a piece

How so? You can get Pro wheels (Tacoma or 4runner) cheaper than that. OR wheels are a dime a dozen as everyone takes them off.

A set of new OR wheels cost $1600. What other wheels sell for is irrelevant.

TRD wheels are more common than offroad wheels. No not everyone takes them off and are exclusive to the model which is why they cost more to replace.

Nobody is buying OR wheels from the dealership as there is so many new take offs. And definitely not for $1200. My dealership Pro wheels were $780. Find yourself a new dealership.

We aren’t talking about Pro wheels we know they are cheaper.

And YES people do buy them from dealers. Not now but when they begin to get banged up and warped they will.

People sometimes only need 1 wheel.

MSRP on pro wheels are higher. That's my point. Did you pay MSRP for your truck?

MSRP on Pro wheels is only about $1000 for a set of 4, MSRP on OR wheels is over $1600. They are not worth more.

Are you referring to the 4runner or Tacoma. The 4runner are cheaper, I agree.

Like I said at the time that was the going rate when OR wheels were pretty new, I called Toyota and they were worth over $1200 so I thought $800 was a fair price, they sold in a couple days.

I got my money and someone else got some wheels they wanted. so whatever. If people want to give wheels away thats there prerogative, not mine.

Mine sat on Craigslist, offer up, let go for 3 months at $400. I had at least 30 offer's of $300 or less. But I'm sure I would have had great luck selling for $800. Mine had 300 miles and zero blemishes.
