I'm jealous. Those are some good looking cars. I've always wanted a chevelle, but don't have the time, money, or knowledge to restore one, and definitely can't afford one in good condition. My dream car is a '71 Chevelle SS black with white stripes.

I had a built 71 SS 396 blue with black stripes. I've had many chevelles over the years. I had so many sitting here at the Shell station where I work that it was nicknamed Chevelle Shell.

Well, I think it is like a 3 or 4 hour drive for me. And sorry, I am not coming up there and not drinking, not happening. I am not drinking and then driving 4 hours through the back roads of Md, definitely not happening. Plus it would limit the time I'm there. I don't have a problem sleeping on a cot, the floor or the back seat of my truck. Hell, get me drunk enough and I will sleep sitting in the chair I'm drinking in. Just throw a towel over my head to keep bugs form flying into my open mouth. :D

It was a 2010. It's been a while now since I owned it but I bought a full set torx case as I was constantly changing things on her.

I've seen enough photos of your place to know my wheels will be safe. Besides, nothing wrong with a little character.

Well after hunting I found a hard cover for $40, and the guy had a headache rack as well he gave me for $60. Debating the headache rack still. It's growing on me.

Jesus, that guy must have been really hard up. Those covers usually go for $200 as a good price. You stole that. I like how that headache rack is the real kind and has max protection. Some are just a couple bars. Dumb. Nice score!

I'm Rob by the way, never really interacted before but I know your handle on here.

Good to meet you man. I'm Elliott. I used to be more active here but then I bought a house and got married....

Found it on Craigslist and booked it over to the guy's house. It'd been up like 10 days, was super surprised he still had it! The cover needs some touch up paint for a little sun damage but that's about it.

Very cool Elliott, definitely know the name from when I first joined a little over a year ago.

You definitely stole that. I almost went with a cap. Had one on my Tundra. I went with the Bak Revolver X2 instead. I like it a lot. Especially when I take my trash to the dump

    20170805_134800.jpg

    I couldn't do this with a cap.

Then I thought about a soft topper. But I felt the Revolver would be more secure. I just put the additional cargo in the back seat area when we go on vacation.

    20170923_122635.jpg

We really enjoy going down to OC! We didn't make it yet this year. Doing Siesta Key in September instead.

Well, I think we (Maryland thread) are trying to set up a meet sometime in August. Might meet you then. I know how home ownership requires a lot of your time, I'm in the same boat, but maybe we'll meet eventually.

I'll definitely try to Make it out to an August meet. If I didn't have my dinky lil 4x8 trailer for dump runs I'd want something that gives me full use of the bed. I overloaded it today with .92 tons of rock.....even though it's only rated for 1200lbs. I figure if it gives out it'll give me reason to get a nice 5x8
