I thought on the tsb's they are suppose to put a sticker under the hood with the tune ID or something like that?

Almost never gets done. I doubt anyone know where the stickers are. I just get a print out of the software calibration page from TechStream for my records.

Did it fix the surging on the highways? The up and downs on the 101 are killing me.

Three threads covering the same tsb, maybe time for a merge?

I had this done yesterday at the dealership, happily with no resistance on their end. Told them the symptoms and they gave me the update. With the 20 some miles I put on it since then it definitely has a stronger feel unless my placebo effect radar is off. My only worry is the computer relearning the bad habits. Not sure if driving it slightly harder than normal would make a difference on how it adapts to normal daily driving behaviors but it's something I thought of trying.

I got mine done yesterday but have not have a chance to drive it. For the short distance from the dealer to home I have felt that is shifting a bit higher now, from around 3000 RPM to close to 4000 RPM now, kind of like ECT was doing before.
Have you driven yours for a while to asses the difference?

Does this TSB cover all of the software updates to this point or it only covers this this specific issue?

Is there any way to know what version is currently on the truck?

2018's apparently already have the main one, the latest is for high altitude. But I'm going to demand that one anyway, just for good measure. I don't notice any problems in mine. The first couple of weeks were interesting as both the truck and I were learning each other.

That’s what I’d like fixed too. The hills in the Ozarks cause the my engine to turn 5000rpm to maintain 70mph in cruise. It’s probably more to do with the dumb Atkinson cycle.

Yeah that's the only issue i have is the trans jumping around at highway speeds around 70-80mph . Any change in the road or 1 mph change in speed and its dropping a gear and staying in that lower gear until i hit the gas pedal to speed up.

    Curious if it addresses that.

Did a drive test today to check it out since I had the TSB 0062-18 done yesterday.

    BEFORE
From stop, with constant pressure on the gas, it would reeve to 3 and shift, then drop a bit in RPM and go back to about 3 and shift again.
With WOT at any speed it would reeve to 5 and for a second or so the truck would maintain speed after which it kicks in and jumps ahead.
I was afraid to change lanes fast since that hesitation and was concern somebody would hit me in the back.

    NOW
From stop it reeves to or close to 4 and has a progressive acceleration. Each shift happens at 3-4 but is uniform and progressive without jerking.
WOT it also reeves to close to 5 but the response is very fast without that hesitation from before.
Overall it feels faster with more power from still and acceleration is better.

I would say it drives better now stock than with ECT before.
Also is 3" lifted, 18" Methods rims (heavy) and 32.5" tires.
Drive to work is 19.1 miles and was getting 21 MPG with 89 gas. Will see this week if MPG is better or worse.

How would you rate your drive with the new TSB?

Is the surging this TSB references synonymous with the misfire/stumble under light or moderate acceleration some of have reported?
