    When I was dead ass broke, and mean really broke, might have boiled hot dogs and then cooked the noodles for mac n cheese in the water so it would have some meat flavor.

    Back in the 70's... So I guess mustard is OK as long as you boiled them.

    But even hot dogs deserve better than that. Those are the same dogs my sons like.

    No had my blood work done 2 weeks ago and my primary care doc told me to keep up the healthy lifestyle. So I am.

    The carbs are no good however and I try to limit them. They are the real culprit. You can eat eggs, bacon and red meat all you want and likely still have good test results. As long as you don't add carbs.

    I like taking advantage of a pan seasoned with other flavors. If I have time to do the ribs indirect tomorrow I'll put down a big aluminium pan to catch the drippings. If it looks good I'll put it in a mason jar in the fridge for a flavor booster for something later.

    I don't know how my labs are going to look this time. I have about 3 weeks till I do mine. This time last year I was dragging pretty bad so I added some extra back per the dietician. I feel a whole lot better so we'll see.
