Does MT 90 not work well in cold Climates? I'm not far from changing MT/ Tcase fluids

I am about to find out. Changing to RL MT90 from who knows what (2nd owner). It gets cold here too. From my experience, synthetic motor oil works very well in extreme cold, I am hoping the gear lube does as well.

I’ve been running MT90 for two winters here in Northern Nevada, no issues at all.

I’m running Redline in the tranny, transfer case, and differentials up here in Minnesota. The MT-90 GL-4 in the transmission made a noticeable difference in shifting cold and warm. The huge improvement was putting the 75W-90 Gl-5 in the transfer case. With the stock oil I had that loud clunk when shifting into 4 wheel drive. Now with the Redline I can’t even tell it’s shifting. It’s so smooth I had to get under the truck to verify the transfer case engaged.
