Yup, my carpenters eye agrees. Isn't there a mod to move the camera display from the mirror to the head unit?

I installed RokBlokz mud flaps from the recent Group Buy. They seem great but the screws they chose are a horrible choice.

    My comment from the GB:

Yes there is but I would rather not mess with OEM wiring and want to put it in a better location like on the bumper or Licence plate frame. I equipped Highway Patrol cars for 25 years and ran the electric shop so I can and am used to modifying vehicle wiring just don’t feel like doing it on mine. Crutchfield willl make up adaptor harnesses so it will be plug and play except Camera and I will have my Granson route the cables under the truck and into the cab for me. He want to learn so he will.

Parked next to a fellow Tacoma owner. Pretty rare to see a built taco in southern Indiana.1691B041-E643-4A0C-8F11-C792A97B2D32.jpg

Did an oil change and transmission fluid change. I went with valvoline maxlife high mileage for the oil and royal purple 75w90 synthetic for the trans. The trans shifts so good now, it's like butter! I think I'll stick with it from now on. Its not just hype.

PS: sorry for the confusion folks. I have a 6 speed manual. So gear oil is the correct choice. I drained it all and refilled.

Looks really good. What headlights did you go with? I'm polishing the yellow OEM lights out, but going to be in the market soon.

Thanks. I just went with TRD Sport replicas, didn’t want or need anything fancy. I swapped all the bulb sockets and headlight bulb boot from the factory housings into these to avoid condensation, and it’s worked great so far.

I bought some new bed rail caps to replace some slightly damaged ones from my cap (had been on since 2011 and I sold it last week). I was planning on simply touching up any worn/rusty spots under the rails, so I taped things off while the old ones were still on. Didn't quite know what to expect underneath. Once removed there were only a few small spots with the paint worn and three small areas where some rust was forming (primarily on each end). I cleaned that all up and instead of touching up just those spots, I decided to simply cover the entire top of the bed rail with roll on bed liner. I figure if my cap caused that little damage over 7 years, my new Tonneau Cover will be fine for the rest of it's life.

Pre-Taping (tucked it ever so slightly under the rail so nothing would show).

Rust and worn spots all cleaned up, scuffed up and cleaned.

Had this issue on my 80 series. You'll need to take the hood off & lay it upside down on a non-scratch surface. Use caulk adhesive from a body shop.
