Last weekend I was banging the rev limiter in 2nd to get out of a hole. It was fun! I am only shifted into first for down hill engine braking otherwise I wheel with speed in 2nd gear either 4l or 4h. I may do the mod if I see it being a problem otherwise.

Shit the Amazon banner at the bottom of the thread that shows what all shopping we do has the powertrax lock-right locker down to $299 :annoyed: I just bought a bumper can't afford that right now.

There's an extra $20 for shipping so just tell yourself it's not an amazing deal :p OR just buy it anyways :D

I really can't I gotta be good. Next month is locker month then it'll be mid and rear skid month. I spent entirely too much the past few weeks on the truck

What will be fun is being locked all the time and not having to worry with switching the locker on and listening to a compressor run. Plus can't wait to see the difference it makes on certain trails and in trails that I won't attempt now because I'll just need a strap or winch

Trust me, I know the feeling.

I'm REALLY excited to wheel with this thing. I'm sure that some stuff that you normally wouldn't need a locker for would be made that much easier since it's always on. I have a trip planned for 4 weeks from now and it can't come quick enough.

Nice! That was the best mod I ever did with that truck. I still have those three switches, I kept them when the truck was written off. LOL

The ABS on my Tundra has not caused me any grief in conditions where it did on the Tacoma, so haven’t attempted such a mod with it.

What happened to the Tacoma?? And thanks again for the mod. It took some digging to find one that would work on my truck without VSC.

I love it, probably more than I did the Tacoma. I miss the Tacoma off road for sure, my quad fits in the Tundra with the tailgate closed, so win some/loose some. The roomy cab is great, the 5.7 is fun, and I recently got 18.4 mpg on a long road trip. Different animal for sure, but I’m happy.

Damn I make bad decisions when I'm drinking. I missed my tee time and I made out with one of my chiefs wives at the bar.

Went on my first wheeling trip out here in TX and saw this monster crawl straight up a like 10 ft rock wall. This rig is the definition of BEEF. I was in awe 20180728_105653.jpg 20180728_105831.jpg
