Meanwhile in Pennsylvania, the roomie took my Miata out for a spin to get the blood flowing on it because it has been mostly sitting (on a charger and started regularly but not driven).

Calls me and says "it's making a loud whistling noise and it's way down on power..."

Mind you this cat had only about 1,000 miles on it. So either my parts yard warrior cammed out Miata is just too damn awesome to be constrained by cats, or I got a lemon that only showed its shittiness long after warranty time has expired.

Who's everyone using for auto insurance?
AAA goes up every year and it's getting old.

Anyone shopped around recently?
I can't use USAA so they are out.

 

I go with State Farm mainly because I have my home and umbrella policy through them too. Multiple line discount is decent.

 

We use Farmers, bundle home and 2 autos they are actually on the same price point as USAA.
