Let's try to set up a date to make a trip out. There's got to be trails somewhere out there. I will do more research on my end.

NM-142 is the road he talked about. he said it crosses the river about 2 dozen times back and forth.

I’ve got a buddy who lives in Socorro and always pushes me to come check it out out there. Said he would be our personal tour guide if we wanted to come that way

Wonder if a snorkel kit is necessary for the river crossing?
I just realized that I've been to Elephant Butte before- back in the day when I lived in El Paso.

I suppose it depends on seasonal water levels. I'll ask him but I don't think it would as long as you're smart about crossing, not splashing, and keeping steady pace behind the wake.

I won't be free to trip until september sometime but don't postpone solely for me.

September should work. I got a few things in store for the taco this month. Starting with a visit to the doctors

No good war story for this. Got ambushed by a light pole at best buy (as my sliders were in the shop getting coated)

I wouldn't even pay to fix it. wear it with pride and just tell people it was a rock. spend that 500-1000 on car parts :)

You'd be surprised how much of that will polish out.

I hear you but I was in the process of making a claim with my insurance. My deductible is not cheap. But I think I still have to do it. The rocker panels f*****

If you see it you will see there's no polishing it out.:(

Need sliders full, skids, a six inch lift on 35’s and lockers before you go back and tackle that again.

Not enough led lights . Thats why all the Jeep boys have all them light bars . Those curbs and light poles are hard to see with the overhead parking lights at the mall .
