True. I've always had better mileage with premium. Yes, meth isnt cheap. But I find the benefits of well over 100 octane and the cooling to be worth it.

Who on here was testing the iotech software? I would be interested in testing or tinkering with it. Someone shoot me a copy.

Awesome progress @OVTune! My tactrix comes on Wednesday. Can the updates be done anytime now? If yes I'll do that before datalogging.

@OVTune Well if you need a tester Id be willing to be the guinea pig. I am currently running Haltech 2500 but am interested in tuning via OEM as well.
I didnt see any reference to the 30458000 cal file which is what Techstream says I have. What will the self tuning software cost, and what are the capabilities?
Can you share a trial version to tinker with, or something of that nature? Appreciate the info.

One more question. Is there access to fuel map scaling for use with E85?

30458000 is not currently added to our support list.
Any ECU that ends with 3 zeros "000" is an original version cal, which means we need our hands on a physical ECU to support it.

I can share table lists. As for fuel scaling for E85, definitely doable I've already done it on the scion tC, uses the exact same fuel tables.

So if I flashed the Toyota .cuw file for the supercharger through techstream, would that give it a cal file that would then be supported?

    Yes it would
and if your Truck is turbocharged, like the picture, I would highly recommend it as the TRD files have extended load and larger tables.

So I have one of the first batch sold handhelds and the original NA 91 tune. Has the file changed that I should get it out of the storage bin, update it and reflash the 91 tune?

There’s so such crap now in this thread I can’t keep straight what features or tweaks are now available.

Please make a 93 tune btw.

Is there a 1GR-FE tuning basics and terminology thread someone can point me to? Search turned up little. I've tuned EFI motos and a basic plug & play tune on my 5VZ-FE but some of the terms here are over my head.

(I know my '14 1GR-FE ECU is 30480000 and looks to be supported by OVTune)

It is like the picture with the addition of the flex fuel sensor running E85. I may do this in the very near future!

I assume because you are a 3rd Gen the three 000 don't apply but that is just my assumption and could be innacurate.

@OVTune did you decide where you're relocating too? If it's in the east, I have a quick change pulley setup and willing to take a road trip to help develop pulley specific tunes.

What kind of scan tool are you guys using to see what type of ECU you have? The one I know would work is for Android only and I have an iPhone. For whatever reason, all the autozones and advance autos I’ve been to are all certain theirs won’t tell me the ECU number and none of them have even bothered to try
