upload_2018-7-29_11-16-30.jpgHuge trailer, I towed it over 120 miles over some steep mountain roads, was full of all my stuff. Trailer empty weight was 4000 pounds, my guess is it was around 8-9000 pounds loaded. I averaged 13.2 mpg while towing, hooked up to a 2016 f150 with the eco boost and he averaged 9.5.... go figure. Also, ignore my stupid pose.

Towed the trailer, my wife’s outback at 3,800 lbs, and all our belongings... when I drove over the scale it’s said 7,900 and that’s as after we removed some of our stuff. Just an estimate. So at least 7,900 lbs.

On lev l ground it pulled fine up to about 50 MPH, anything over that and the trailer got a bit unruly and started to weave about. Up hills it did fine up to about 35MPH, it did have to work hard but I figure as long as the rev limiter is not in the red I would be fine. I know this isn’t what this truck was designed to do but I was In a bind and the Tacoma came out impressing the hell outta me. Seriously it got better MPG towing on the flats then the f150 did.
