    When I did them on the grill I only used indirect heat & used a pizza screen. Came out better than normal oven.

    Today's homemade wood fired pizza is TJ's whole wheat dough topped with 3 parts Costco marinara & 1 part Kinder's roasted garlic BBQ sauce (mixed), Costco smoked pulled pork, sausage & mushroom.

    Yes it is.
    I've made 4 pies in it so far & like it.
    It takes some getting used to, but I think I got it now (3rd & 4th were great).
    1st you get your pizza(s) ready then start your fire keeping firebox upwind.
    LEAVE YOUR VENTS OPEN! Top front & top back of fire box
    You need to slowly keep adding more pellets (a hand full every minute or so being careful not to smother fire) until the hopper is 1/2 full then close rear vent.
    A couple of more minutes & it's ready to cook.
    I've only made one at a time so far, but the stone heats up real quick so I don't see a problem with throwing another one in after a minute or two.
