Thanks. I’ll check it out. Never had any issues with my last Jeep and AFE. Don’t think I would ever use a snorkel on my daily driver though. Mountain moon dust is something else though!

replaced rear brake drums and shoes... funny thing, I was looking at some of my alerts on my old post and I noticed the grooves on my new brake rotors, I got rotors/shoes at the same time from the same place, also rebuilt brake system, so I'm curious, what would cause new rotors / new pads to leave what I consider such bad grooves? I just noticed the grooves in the picture in another post so I haven't actually checked them out yet (will do so tomorrow), but considering at the taking of this picture rotors/pads are 4 months old, I wouldn't think you would be seeing grooves this bad already, if at all! Any thoughts?

You can remove the third without disconnecting the brake lines or did you do it for another reason?

 

I hate all the chrome on my truck Not much I can do other than remove the steps till I find someone selling a spruce sport grille.

 

Are you talking about unbolting all the hard line brackets? I thought about it but ultimately I don’t mind bleeding the brakes. Takes all of 5 min. Plus I was unsure if I could do that method by myself. Like if the axles would stay far enough out on their own.

 

I embraced the chrome because I was too cheap to buy a color matched one. But, I did do my own Satoshi with some mesh and I think it decreases the impact of the chrome a bit. Might be an option to consider?
