Put my ARE and Yakima system to the test today. 200 lb table, 150lb human, and 120 lbs of hay.

I’ve been super happy with @ewxlt66 (Wilco Offroad). Product is absolutely bomber and Eric’s CS is awesome. I actually just had an issue with a bushing. Not necessarily a defect but a problem just the same, Eric is sending me a new one just like that.

I think the product is brilliant because i don’t always owe vehicals forever. So it’s easy to move. In fact this Max was on my Ram 2500, if i did it over I’d consider a smaller one if you don’t need the capacity. My Ram had much larger tires.

Long story short Wilco is top notch, if it was stolen tomorrow I’d replace it immediately.

Camera is obviously effected. I haven’t relocated mine yet but i likely will at some point

Yeah I’m in the final month of waiting for my GoFastCamper, no windows on it so I’d prob better think about my camera. Though with that huge tire back there it makes a nice bumper hahaha

 

Installed a set of @CaliRaisedLed bed stiffeners in preparation for the ARE shell I ordered a couple weeks ago. Also assembled a new Hitch Rider trike rack to transport our recumbent trikes. They don't fit in the 5ft bed unless the tailgate is down.

I have a RTT and I am kinda wishing I had went with a truck tent instead. It's too much trouble to take off when I need a truck bed. I end up borrowing one of my brothers GM trucks and then I feel dirty afterwards

Installed a Bak Flip MX4 bed cover and done a few of my own modifications to the system. Custom drain tubes and an anti-coathanger theft bracket, if you will. For something that is spendy such as this, you would figure it would come with these features from the factory!

 

Drove it around for fun and starting thinking about if it could handle driving on the beach. I’m sure it can but I’m used to a Bronco with a true LSD. Someone tell me it’ll be fine when we drive on the beach in a few weeks lol
