its the 14 inch one. i have done a whole lot of driving with it yet, but so far the reception is just as good as stock.

i just unscrewed the old one and screwed this one in. couldn't be any more simple.

    looks good.
i bought one of those cheap 8" shorties off ebay, looked like ISHT. pulled off the ball tip from the aftermarket one, cut the stocker down to 14 inches and placed the ball tip on the modified stock one. looks awesome and reception is great!

sweet. it gets real annoying when my antenna dings all the pipes in my underground parking garage. no more zig zagging!

    mudduck,

did you need to use any included adaptors or did it have the same thread pattern as stock and screw right in sans the adaptor?

Is there any flex to the 14" or 21" kind? I like the lower profile, and I'm sick of the parking garage manuevering every day. But some shorties I've seen are thicker and seem like they might snap, or get ripped off and take the antenna mount with them, if they get hit by a limb or something.

it comes with a few different stud sets. it was easy to pick out the right one for the taco. just screw em in and your done.

this one seems to be the same thickness as the stock one, just shorter. its got some bend to it, but obviously not as much because of the shortness.
