Yea, your tires aren't bulging so you were fine

It's good to push the limits sometimes.

Yea, I think they're talking Frisco's in Colombia. I hope it's a rainy day so I don't have to pass because of chores.

Hey guys I’ve been lurking around this thread since March when I purchased my first ever Tacoma, but this is my first time posting here.

Me and a buddy were planning to head up to Green Ridge today, but I just saw that the ORV trails have been permanently closed. I’ve also noticed plenty of post from people recently saying they’ve been there. Just tying to get some clarity on the status of the park and if I should make the trip today (especially since it’s a 2 hour drive).

    Thanks for your help.

The full on orv trails are closed, but there's plenty of fire roads to cruise around on. Some of them are pretty nasty

Everybody that goes there goes to the fire roads in the state forest. If you go to the ranger's station, they have some maps.

EDIT: We normally play around Twigg Road and Jacob's Road and that area. They are in the west area when looking at the map.

There was a local group of 4runners up there yesterday and looks like it was muddy and the water crossings were not to high from all the rain .I say go it’s a cool place to explore if you’ve never been

Thanks! This place is not good for my wallet.

Thank you. Will definitely grab a map when I get there.

Great! I was concerned about all the rain.

Anyone near 21237 and have knowledge of motorcycles that could go check one out for me?

I'm running into some logistical issues and would like to get eyes on it before I start to jump through hoops like taking off work.

Welcome and congrats on the truck.
Some of us went to GR a couple (few) months ago and had a good time.
I'm definitely looking forward to the next trip. Tyler is a veteran of that area so he lead. Nice guy and even though he doesn't drive a Tacoma, he's a 4Runner guy, we let him play with us anyway.
Hope to meet you soon. Always nice to meet TW members.

I utilized my drum brake spindles & hubs, with a little machining of course, and installed 2002 Z/28 brakes. I need 18's now to clear. This brake upgrade gives you much better stopping for little $$$ compared to other big brake kits.

I'm gonna try and put a trip to GR together sometime in August. So try not to be too busy @pdenajim

Also @AR15xAR10 you're coming. Not an option. Would also be a good time for @RobP62 to come out and learn what 4 wheel drive does.

I also know that @greengen1 was trying to get a meet together coming up, so we will not schedule it on the same day as that one to avoid scheduling conflicts.

The only weekend I can't do it is Aug 25th for now, so if anybody has any preferred dates, let me know.

We ended up spending about 2-3 hours there yesterday and didn’t even scratch the surface of that place. We’re definitely looking forward to going back and would love to be apart of one of your guys trips. I’m sure you all know all the fun spots. Being our first time we kinda just wondered around. Unfortunately Twigg road was closed and Gordan road had a danger sign blocking the path shortly after camp site 37.
