My old 16 Tacoma, traded it up though.....needed 4x4 and the longer bed so got a 17 sport 4x4

At the dealership getting my 40K service done so I went outside to look at some new trucks sincenin thinking of upgrading my SR5 to a 4x4 OR and look what I came across.... a markup on a regular 2018 4x4 OR. NOT A PRO, just an off road. I’m in San Diego so I get the market... but that’s crazy.

The only pro on the lot has a 15K markup. Lol

 

LOL - $1600 in BS add on's and a flat out $5000 dealer mark up!

Oof... at least it’s got that standard **full tank of gas**, and nitrogen filled tires.

 

Finally decided to pull the trigger on this '18.
Already did some basic mods within the first month. TRD Faux grille, tint, tailgate letters, plastiderp emblems and chin spoiler delete.
Opted for a the 2WD Sport since I don't plan on offroading anytime in the future, just a daily commuter and definite upgrade from my old Honda Civic.

 

Installed new shoes on the Taco today. Super stoked and better yet, the wife loves them. Only bad part was the TPMS sensors wouldn’t transfer over from the stock steelies to the new alloys. Anybody know the part number to some TPMS sensors that’ll work.

Sad sad day today. I took my truck into discount tire to get my wheels and tires balanced with my brand new SCS ray 10s... look at what they did. Next week they are supposed to have a repair guy come out and fix them. They stated if he couldn't repair they'd buy me new ones.

 

Damn, tell them buy you new ones and they can have those.

 

I would want new. Not repaired. That sucks
