    the upper mount is the stock location, i moved the lower mount to the axle as you see in the pic i provided earlier lol

    No, shocks don't hold the weight, the mounts are just physically in different locations because the one in front and one in back have to deal with different frame shape and mounting possibilities. The one in front and one in back helps deal with axle wrap with weak stock springs.
